CHAMBERSBURG – Franklin County Career and Technology Center Director Jim Duffey said increased enrollment at the center this year shows there is a lot more interest in the center’s programs than there was even five or 10 years ago.
Enrollment is over 1,000 this year, up from last year’s enrollment of 940 students, and well over the 682 students enrolled in the 2011-12 school year.
“More students are looking at our programs,” Duffey said. “We have a lot more interest than we did five or 10 years ago.”
There are a lot of reasons for that, he said.
