An instructional program that prepares students to engage in the servicing and maintenance of all types of automobiles and light trucks. Students learn how to perform four wheel alignments, steering and suspension service, brake service, electronic fuel injection and electrical and electronics training. Live work will occur on both school and customer cars. Opportunities exist for students to obtain their state inspection license. This program is NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) certified offering Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification opportunities to students.

Program Requirements and Expectations

Students are required to wear shop uniforms consisting of blue or black “Dickies” style pants available at Wal-Mart and purchase shop T-shirts from Auto Tech program ( $5.00 ).
Students are required to wear leather work shoes. NO SNEAKERS OR HIKING BOOTS.
Students are required to sign a toolbox usage agreement stating that if tools are lost or missing, the student is responsible for replacement.
Students will be issued safety glasses to wear in the Automotive Program.
