An instructional program focused on the repair and service of diesel engines and heavy equipment. Students study maintenance, repair and adjustment of diesel engines in both cars and trucks, heavy-duty transmissions, drive assemblies and other heavy truck systems. Hands-on experience is provided working with operable diesel engines such as Cummins, Detroit, Deutz and Mack. Additional studies are offered in heavy equipment technologies such as through Caterpillar. Bio-diesel technologies will be explored in this program.

Program Requirements and Expectations
Students are required to wear blue uniform pants and blue T-shirt.
Steel toed work boots are required.
Students should purchase a good pair of safety glasses.
Students need to come with a positive attitude and be ready to work.
